Denied the chance to compete in the Tokyo Olympics, because of a national doping ban, it seems Russia was determined to disrupt them this summer’s Olympics – before coronavirus did instead.
The UK’s National Cyber Security Centre says Russian military intelligence was planning a cyber attack.
And it wasn’t the first such plan. A joint operation with American intelligence, has also confirmed the Winter Olympics in South Korea in 2018 were disrupted by the Russians.
