UK – Britons urge government to scrap plans for Trump state visit

more than one million people have signed this petition… calling to cancel DOnald Trump’s state visit in the UK.the initiative was launched before the US president decided to ban citizens of 7 countries from entering America…but since he signed the executive order -new signatures have poured in.politicians and party leaders have joined the move.SOT Corbyn – I am not happy with him coming here until that ban is lifted, quite honestly, because look at what’s happening with those countries, how many more is it going to be? THe UK is the home of many people originally from the countries that have been targeted..among them: 4-times olympic champion Mohamad Farah – who won gold in the 5,000 and 10,000 meter- races. He wrote:DLS: on the first of January this year, her majesty the queen made me a knight of the realm.on the 27th of January , President DOnald Trump seems to have made me an alien. Many are disappointed with their Prime minister’s response to the crisis.asked about Trump’s initiative to block people at the border – including refugees – she said:BRITISH PRIME MINISTER, THERESA MAY, SAYING: ” Et bien les États Unis sont responsables de leur propre politique d’immigration – et nous – nous sommes responsables de la notre.”Many were hoping for another answer:◄br /► Sadiq Khan:l’interdiction est cruelle et honteuse. Notre première ministre ne devrait pas l’accepter.May says she does not approve of Trump’s measures….but she refuses to cancel his visit or change plans.in fact she says she’s looking forward to hosting her ally.
