Super #Typhoon Noru made landfall in the #Philippine municipality of Burdeos on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. (0930 GMT), bringing heavy rains and severe winds to capital #Manila and several areas on the main #Luzon island. Five rescue workers in #Bulacan Province have been reported dead. The authorities have ordered residents to evacuate to higher ground.
