Global News published this video item, entitled “Two rockets from Lebanon strike Israel, drawing retaliation: Israeli military” – below is their description.

Israel’s military claimed on Wednesday that two rockets were fired from Lebanon and that it retaliated by firing its own artillery into the neighbouring country in response to what they call an attack.

The country’s Magen David Adom ambulance service said there were no casualties on Israel’s side, however the rockets appeared to have sparked a fire in a field near Kiryat Shmona. The military also said a third missile had also fired from Lebanon, however it had fallen short of the Israel border.

While the border has been mostly quiet since Israel fought a 2006 war against Hezbollah guerrillas, some small Palestinian factions have fired sporadically on Israel in the past, according to reports.
