    Two former British nationals, accused of being members of an ISIL (ISIS group) cell, have appeared in court in the US. El Shafee Elsheikh and Alexanda Kotey face trial, accused of beheading four Americans, as well as citizens of the United Kingdom and Japan. They are charged with waging a campaign of torture against Western hostages they had captured in Syria. Al Jazeera’s Charlotte Bellis reports. –
