Chinese state-funded media CGTN, reported on Turkey surpassing Iran as the worst affected country in the Middle East:

Turkey has overtaken Iran as the Middle Eastern country hardest hit by COVID-19. As the holy month of Ramadan begins this week, Ankara is implementing some measures to ease the impact from the pandemic. Earlier, we spoke with our correspondent Michal Bardavid for the latest.
