Tunisia: Protests continue against police brutality, corruption

Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Tunisia: Protests continue against police brutality, corruption” – below is their description.

The Tunisian government has extended a night-time curfew due to the COVID-19 pandemic and banned gatherings until February 14.

But it has not stopped hundreds of people in several cities protesting against repression, unemployment and poverty.

Protest slogans popularised a decade ago during the Arab Spring have made a comeback on the same streets.

Al Jazeera’s Sara Khairat reports.
