There is an urban legend among Qingdao’s older generations that on foggy days, they can hear “sea cows.” But in fact, this is the sound of Tuandao Lighthouse’s foghorn. The lighthouse is situated in the southwest corner of Qingdao and acts as a sentinel for Jiaozhou Bay, which flows into the Yellow Sea. It was first built in 1900 by the Germans. Join CGTN reporter Cao Bing to explore the lighthouse and its stories. #Tidesofchange
