Banks, businesses and governments are investing in new ways to securely identify people using their biometric data. Fingerprints are old-fashioned now, the latest technologies use face, iris, voice and even heartbeat data. Biometric technologies have a reputation for being highly secure because they are based on who a person is, not what they know or possess. France 24 reporters Claire Williams and Farah Boucherak went to the TRUSTECH 2016 conference in the French city of Cannes to check out the latest biometric technologies.
