Trump’s executive order targeting social media is drawing criticism from U.S. news media. The New York Times reports the move could harm the president himself. The order means companies could face legal jeopardy if they allow false posts and that could leave tech companies like Twitter no choice but to adopt stricter policies. The Washington Post reports Trump made 18,000 false or misleading claims as of April 3. And, more than one out of six were made on Twitter.
