Trump urges Russia to find Clinton’s ‘missing emails’

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has invited Russia to dig up tens of thousands of so-called missing emails written by his rival Hillary Clinton during her time as secretary of state.

The move has prompted outrage from many, including some in Trump’s own party, who described his comments as “tantamount to treason”.
