President Donald Trump called on Americans who have recovered from Covid-19 to donate their plasma at local blood banks to help those who contract the virus potentially get better faster. He made the remarks on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at the American Red Cross headquarters in Washington. It’s thought that the antibodies that occur after a person recovers from the coronavirus can help others fight the infection.
