Thousands of Trump supporters gathered at a campaign-style rally in the city of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, to hear him give a speech about his time in office so-far. The event was scheduled to take place at the same time as the annual White House Correspondent’s Dinner in Washington DC where press and celebrities are traditionally joined by the President to enjoy a light-hearted review of American political journalism. However, Donald Trump – in his first year in the role – chose to skip it.
