    US President Donald Trump has granted clemency to 143 people, including some high-profile individuals.

    He has pardoned his former chief strategist, Steve Bannon, who was indicted for defrauding Trump’s supporters who wanted to help build the wall on the US-Mexico border.

    Elliot Broidy was indicted for using his access to the president to make millions of dollars from foreign governments.

    There are also musicians on the list, Lil Wayne and Kodak Black, who had pleaded guilty to federal gun charges.

    And disgraced politicians, such as former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who was serving a 28-year sentence on corruption charges.
