Trump on malaria drug for COVID-19: ‘I feel good about it’

America’s ABC News reported on President Donald Trump’s apparent faith in a malaria drug helping to treat Covid-19 patients. His Governmental scientist, Dr Anthony Fauci, was less bullish, instead calling the reports on the drug’s effectiveness “anecdotal”.

Dr Anthony Fauci said there is not enough evidence to support claims that hydrox-chloroquine is effective in combatting COVID-19.

Fauci was in fact very clear that there was “no magic drug on Covid-19 right now.”
