Trump claims credit for UK Huawei ban as China warns against ‘disheartening’ move

Donald Trump has claimed credit for the UK’s decision to ban Huawei from the country’s 5G networks, announcing Huawei would be stripped out of the country’s phone networks by 2027.
Liu Xiaoming, the Chinese ambassador to Britain said the move was ‘not only disappointing but disheartening’ and trust has been damaged between the UK government and Chinese businesses
