U.S. President Donald Trump has encouraged his supporters to vote twice in the forthcoming November presidential election. He also questioned Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s support of African American voters. “He doesn’t say a word about the thousands of African-Americans who are murdered each year as a result of violent crime in Democrat-controlled cities,” Trump said. “They are murdered by the thousands and they never, ever mention it.” Trump was addressing a rally in North Carolina on Tuesday. Election officials warn that the president’s suggestion could cause further disruption and long lines on an Election Day already complicated by the coronavirus pandemic.
