Trump calls for reopening of US schools amid COVID-19 pandemic

As the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States in March, states and localities nationwide shutdown public and private schools affecting more than 55 million students.
Now, authorities are trying to figure out how to reopen for the next school year.
US President Donald Trump continues to downplay the resurgence of the pandemic and insists he wants schools to reopen in the new school year.
