The US President Donald Trump is this Thursday in a city he once described as a “hell hole” for talks with leaders from an alliance he once called “obsolete”. So perhaps it is no surprise that Trump’s welcome in Brussels has been markedly less warm than on the other stops so far on what is his first overseas trip since taking office. Has Trump changed his tune towards NATO and is NATO now feeling more reassured about the new president?
