Trudeau’s chief of staff Telford says “more needed to be done” over 2018 Gen. Vance allegations

Global News published this video item, entitled “Trudeau’s chief of staff Telford says “more needed to be done” over 2018 Gen. Vance allegations” – below is their description.

Katie Telford, the chief of staff to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, repeatedly dodged questions while testifying before the defence committee, over who decided not to tell Trudeau about a 2018 allegation against Gen. Jonathan Vance.

Telford was asked roughly 10 times by Conservative members of the committee to clarify why Trudeau appears not to have been informed about the allegation. He has said he was not “personally aware” of the allegation in 2018 and that while his office knew of an allegation, they did not know the details.

But as David Akin explains, Telford did admit more action should have been taken.
