Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau resumed his summer political tour in Quebec after a Costa Rica holiday and is set to make an infrastructure announcement in Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Que., on Friday. A media availability will follow.

Trudeau’s office says he is the first prime minister in two decades to visit the small archipelago in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
