As Canadians deal with soaring inflation and re-tooled pandemic benefits, Ottawa is set to provide the country’s fiscal update on Dec. 14.
The update comes amid a storm of criticism from the Trudeau government’s opposition, as October saw the highest rate of inflation in nearly two decades at 4.7 per cent. The Conservatives are trying to blame the surge on Liberal policies.
