Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held a press conference Monday alongside Export Promotion and International Trade Minister Mary Ng and parliamentary secretary to the prime minister, Greg Fergus.
It followed an announcement earlier in the day that the federal government would be teaming up with the Federation of African Canadian Economies (FACE) Coalition to share what the group is billing as a “massive announcement” on the Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund, with Small Business Minister Mary Ng, Parliamentary Black Caucus Chair Greg Fergus and Liberal MPs Marci Ien and Emmanuel Dubourg also slated to take part in the mid-morning announcement alongside the PM.
