Trucker protests at Ambassador Bridge block traffic for 3rd day

Global News published this video item, entitled “Trucker protests at Ambassador Bridge block traffic for 3rd day” – below is their description.

Traffic at the Ambassador Bridge, which connects Windsor, Ont. to Detroit, remained snarled on Wednesday from a blockade by anti-mandate protesters in trucks, cars, and pickups, and while some vehicles are getting through the border into the U.S., those trying to enter Canada remain unable to do so.

The vehicles wanting to enter Canada were being advised to travel to the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron, Mich., which connects to Sarnia, Ont. But due to the smaller size of that bridge, lines stretched between 10 to 15 kilometres long as of Tuesday night.

As Sean O’Shea reports, even though mandates are now dropping in some provinces, including Saskatchewan and Alberta, protesters in Windsor say they are not going to leave any time soon.
