A Melbourne truck driver is in custody, maintaining that he didn’t know he’d hit five people – and drove on – leaving them seriously injured. The pedestrians were standing on a footpath in Southbank when they were struck by his b-double tanker. Angry locals have been complaining for years that they intersection was dangerous.
