The ACT Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith says she’s considering a plan to turn a free travelling healthcare bus for homeless and vulnerable Canberrans into a COVID-19 vaccine hub.
‘Pat the Van’ is a mobile GP clinic which opened at a new location today, in Civic at Veterans Park, and provides counselling and primary healthcare services to those who struggle to access mainstream healthcare.
Ali Loom works as a nurse at the clinic and hopes clients will be able to get vaccinated through the program.
