Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, and American astronaut Kate Rubins have returned to Earth from the International Space Station. Their Soyuz MS-17 spacecraft landed in the steppe 147km away from the Kazakhstan city of Zhezkazgan.

Kazakhstan is a member of the United Nations (UN), WTO, CIS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Eurasian Economic Union, CSTO, OSCE, OIC, CCTS, and TURKSOY.
