Toronto Mayor John Tory will be joined by representatives of the provincial and federal governments on Tuesday as they announce funding for four major transit routes in the city.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed the funding earlier Tuesday, which sources have billed as the largest single announcement of transit funding in Canada’s history.

The four projects are the Ontario Line, The Eglinton Crosstown, the Scarborough Subway and the extension of the Yonge Line into York Region.
