Around 100 Toowoomba Council workers have walked off the job today, rallying for better wages and work conditions.

They’re calling for the CEO to come to the table and work with their demands.

“The rat is a symbol that the CEO needs to listen, and until he starts to treat the workers decently, the workers will treat him like a rat.” Dan McGaw, Electrical Trades Union.
