Athletes are gearing up for the Tokyo Olympics, which are just days away from starting, with the opening ceremonies to take place on Friday.

But with Japan still facing a COVID-19 crisis and the Olympic bubble already seeing compromises, few locals are celebrating.

And as Mike Armstrong reports, the head of the organizing committee Toshiro Muto says a last-minute cancellation of events is not being ruled out, depending on whether COVID-19 case levels rise.
