    The Olympics have been hit by yet more drama and controversy – just a day before the Tokyo Games’ opening ceremony.

    The show’s director has been sacked, after it emerged the comedian had made jokes about the Holocaust. And public opinion in Japan is firmly against the Games.

    But as our Sports Editor Steve Scott reports from Tokyo, Team GB athletes insist it’s still something special.
