Chadwick Boseman, who rose to prominence as Black Panther in the Marvel superhero movies, has died of cancer at the age of 43. In 2019, he spoke about his experience as a black man in Hollywood and starring in Black Panther after it won the top prize at the Screen Actors Guild. ‘Did it change the industry?’ he asked of the blockbuster, which grossed over $1.3bn at the box office. ‘I know you can’t have a Black Panther now without a 2 on it.’
