The UK’s Guardian posted this time-lapse video of the NHS Nightingale hospital which is being prepared in London’s ExCeL centre in order to cope with a surge in patients requiring specific and urgent care during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Timelapse footage has captured the transformation of London’s ExCeL centre into a temporary hospital to cope with an expected surge in coronavirus patients.
The Nightingale hospital will treat up to 4,000 previously fit and healthy people struck down by Covid-19.
The hospital will initially provide up to 500 beds equipped with ventilators and oxygen, with the capacity increasing if required.
