‘Time to level the playing field’: Hundreds attend Black Lives Matter protest in Birmingham

Hundreds gather at a Black Lives Matter protest in Victoria Square, Birmingham.

Protesters wore masks and waved banners at the demonstration.

Local campaigner and organiser, Desmond Jaddoo, said:
“Message is simple, if you matter, I matter. We all matter. Treat us fairly and time to level the playing field.”
