A three-year-old girl has survived being thrown ten metres in the air by a kite during a festival in Taiwan.
The youngster’s terrifying ordeal happened after she became entangled in the strings of the large kite.
Cheers turned to screams as onlookers realised the girl had become caught.
She was thrown about in the air for a few seconds before falling into the crowd.
Reports say the girl was left in shock but without injury.
The incident happened during a kite festival in Taiwan.
