Thousands of people across Myanmar took to the streets of Yangon demanding the release of Aung San Suu Kyi and other detained leaders on Monday. The country’s most popular markets, shopping malls and other private businesses in the city are closed due to the protests. CGTN reporter Gao Jiayi brings you more from the scene.
