Thousands of people have marched in the German capital, unmasked, to protest against virus restrictions that are imposed on the whole country to try to prevent clusters of individual cases from becoming a second wave.
Organisers of the protest hoped to bring 500,000 people to Berlin for the protests, but police said only a fraction of that number came.
While polls suggest that the majority of Germans support the protective measures in place, protests like this highlight those who do not want to comply with the measures if it inconveniences them.
