Tens of thousands of people have rallied across Myanmar to denounce last week’s coup and demand the release of elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi. The protests are the biggest since the 2007 Saffron Revolution that helped lead to democratic reforms. Meanwhile, foreign minister Marise Payne has called for the immediate release of detained Australian professor Sean Turnell. Sean Mantesso reports.
