  • The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “This is why the Georgia US Senate election is so important” – below is their description.

The race to decide who will be elected to the US Senate is drawing to a close. Will it be incumbent Republicans, Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue or Democratic challengers, Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff?

Polls close in Georgia for the second time in three months as the balance of the Senate is up for play.

If Democrats win, Biden’s party will control both houses of Congress when he takes office on January 20, with vice-president Kamala Harris casting the deciding vote in a tied Senate.

If Republicans to win Senate control, the party can block or curtail Biden’s legislative agenda.
