RT published this video item, entitled “This Canadian artist turns brain activity… into music” – below is their description.
Ever wondered what your brain activity would sound like? Well, artist and neuroscientist Angie Coombes wondered as well and to find an answer she has converted her brainwave activity into sounds with TONTO, the largest analogue synthesizer in the world. Created in the late 1960s by Malcolm Cecil, TONTO, an acronym for ‘The Original New Timbral Orchestra’, was made famous by Stevie Wonder, who used it to record some of his masterpieces, including his ‘Innervisions’ album.
