Under current travel restrictions Canberrans are unable to travel to South Australia, despite the ACT recording no locally transmitted COVID-19 cases over the past 12 months.

Now Canberra Airport’s managing director Stephen Byron is threatening to ban flights from Adelaide landing in Canberra, until he receives a guarantee that borders won’t be closed to the ACT while there are no active local cases.
