Theresa May clashes with Michael Gove over National Security Adviser appointment

Theresa May has clashed with Michael Gove over the political appointment of David Frost as National Security Adviser.

The former Prime Minister and Home Secretary praised the “expert independent advice” she received in nine years on the National Security Council and asked why Mr Frost was a “political appointee with no proven expertise in national security”.
