The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “The Royal Family’s very different Christmas | Royal Insight with Camilla Tominey” – below is their description.
The Queen is the focal point of royal celebrations at Christmas and likes to lead proceedings – so much so that her family are only allowed to go to bed on December 25 when she says it is time to do so.
But even for them, the Covid-19 pandemic has forced a re-think and the Royals are not exempt from the restrictions we all face during the festive season.
Despite scaling back – and celebrating at Windsor Castle rather than in Sandringham – the Queen and Prince Philip are still expected to be welcoming several familiar faces on Christmas Day.
In the video above, The Telegraph’s Associate Editor Camilla Tominey explains in detail what those plans will involve and how some family members might actually welcome the break in tradition.
