G7 leaders have announced a $600 billion global infrastructure program that aims to fund projects in developing countries. Called the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment, the initiative is widely perceived as a rebranding of the similar short-lived idea rolled out at last year’s G7 summit under the name “Build Back Better World”.
