The mistaken identity that led to Australian soldiers allegedly killing the wrong man | ABC News

Australian Special Forces allegedly killed an unarmed Afghan civilian after mistaking him for a Taliban target who shared the same name.

ABC Investigations has been told that the man was dragged away and shot multiple times in cold blood during the 2013 raid.

A complaint was later made to the coalition forces about his killing.
