  1. I saw the heartwarming movie with my son about a magpie called Penguin when it was released. Just after I had seen the movie I observed
several mapies on the front lawn of a resident in my street. I thought I’d call the name Penguin and one magpie separated from the others, walked over to me and looked into my eyes as if it was looking straight through my soul. I seem to have a natural ability to communicate with nature(in particular birds) as on another occasion, I mimicked a barking owl at the Adelaide Zoo and it responded mimicking me. I also communicated with several birds (kookaburras as I recall)
at Morialta Falls calling them as they flew to a branch, perching in a row on the branch above near where I was sitting. This particular story about Molly and Peggy though is next level adorable and proves that no matter what the species, a lifelong bond can form particularly as in many circumstances like this, from abandonment.
