The ancient Loulan Kindom is located in Lop Nor, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It has one of the harshest natural environments in the world, and is known as “the sea of death.”

Staff at the Loulan Cultural Relics Protection Station in Ruoqiang County have guarded and protected the ancient Loulan Town and its surrounding tombs for decades.
