Against the backdrop of racial violence in the United States, a New South Wales police officer was captured on video this week kicking the legs out from under an Indigenous teenager and pinning him to the ground. The footage went viral online and it’s helped spark a broader conversation about the policing of Indigenous Australians. The boy’s family spoke to 7.30.
