A widely available blood-thinning drug that is being used to treat seriously ill COVID-19 patients is being described as a “game changer” by doctors.

The drug Heparin is now being trialed in the ICU departments of hospitals in 13 countries across the world.

And the Australian leading the research says if its as successful as thought, many lives can be saved.
