ITV News published this video item, entitled “The cladding scandal: what is it like to live in a flammable unsafe home?| ITV News” – below is their description.

Ever since the Grenfell Tower fire four years ago exposed the dangers of flammable cladding, we’ve spoken to countless people in the North West whose properties are considered dangerous and they face bills of tens of thousands of pounds.

In this episode of From the North we are discussing what it’s like to live in an apartment you’ve been told isn’t safe and you can’t move or sell.

Elaine Willcox has been talking to two people in different properties, one’s had work done, the other’s still waiting, but both aren’t safe and they’re trapped.
